Designed by Pete Dye, Bobby Weed and player consultant Jerry Pate (1982 PLAYERS Champion), Dye’s Valley at TPC Sawgrass is adjacent to THE PLAYERS Stadium Course. Opened in 1987, Dye’s Valley Course has hosted a number of elite-level tournament competitions in its history: Korn Ferry Challenge at TPC Sawgrass (2020), Mackenzie Tour Qualifying (2018-19), Web.com Tour Championship (2013-2015), Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open (2010-2012), United States Amateur Championship – Stroke Play Qualification (1994), Senior Players Championship (1988-1989).

Southeast Review

I thought playing the Valley Course at Sawgrass would be a good warm up, but you realize real quick that this course is magnificent as well!!! The greens were almost the same speed as on the Stadium course. They were soft and rolling perfect. It was in immaculate shape and I don't think I saw a weed on the course!! We did not take a caddy, but they are available on this course, and highly recommend taking one!! If you are playing TPC Sawgrass, make sure you play the Valley Course. It truly is awesome and I can't wait to play it again!!
